Good morning!

Here is today’s morning wrap up:

US Exchange

The Dow Jones moved higher overnight with a +0.52% move or +179.35 points, and the S&P 500 followed overnight with a +0.88% rise or +37.04 points. The Nasdaq, Based on technology, also up overnight with a +1.47% gain or +199.98 points. In addition, the recent report shows that leisure and hospitality gained +292k jobs, construction -20k, manufacturing +23k and retail -6k.

  • Tesla (TSLA) up overnight with a +4.58% gain or +26.21 dollar,
  • Apple (AAPL) Shares up overnight with a +1.90% gain or +2.35 dollars,
  • Amazon (AMZN) up overnight with a +0.60% gain or +19.21 dollars per share,
  • Microsoft (MSFT) up overnight with a +2.07% gain or +5.08 dollars per share,

ASX Today

This morning, the Australian stock market is projected to start the week slightly higher. The ASX 200 is predicted to open the day 7 points or 0.1 percent higher, according to the latest SPI futures.

The S&P/ASX 200 closed the day just under its new all-time high with a +0.49% lift or +35.30 points; today marks a higher high. The XJO experienced a high of 7300.50 before closing to a value of 7295.40, higher than yesterdays close of 7260. The utility sector gained the most today, with the XUJ experiencing a +1.39% lift. Conversely, the materials sector experienced a loss, with the XMJ falling the most today with a -1.48% loss.
